The Sales Excellence Business Partner is responsible for translating Achilles business strategy into world-class predictable sales processes and execution to enable the organisation to achieve revenue growth, profitability, and improved customer satisfaction. In particular, the Sales Excellence lead is instrumental in driving the adoption of best practice in the management of sales performance at Achilles.


You will become a trusted business partner within the Sales Community, leading Value Based Selling training of our new Growth Products.  Combining sales training with sales operations/productivity skills to ensure the sales team have the tools, training and know how to grow sales whilst ensuring Achilles can measure and monitor the capabilities and skills of the sales teams.

Responsibilities (Responsabilidades)

Planning & Tools

  • Ensure sales teams have the collateral for value based selling of our new product lines. Working closely with Product and Marketing teams to provide one message out to our customers
  • Manage Sales toolkits (collateral, battle cards, case studies etc) to reduce re-work and increase Sales team productivity and ensure consistent high quality value selling
  • Use CRM and internal IT Systems effectively to ensure consistent, efficient approach to communicate and educate the team.
  • Produce clear Executive Summary reporting and dashboard to describe current sales team skills and the areas to be addressed that have the maximum impact on sales growth


Driving Change

  • Use deep understanding of local business performance, resource constraints, characteristics of customer base to ensure anything sales teams need to improve productivity is addressed.
  • Identify gaps of knowledge or skills from sales teams and implement tracking and/or accreditation methodology to identify a sales skill level matrix
  • Create and manage roll-out and adoption/implementation plans that leverage appropriate resources and enable cross-boundary collaboration and success
  • Adapt to any internal events and modify processes, programmes, collateral and schedules as required


Training & Up-Skilling

  • Champion the adoption and execution of standard processes and tools
  • In particular, ensure the effective and efficient execution of the Rhythm of Business best practice in the management of sales performance
  • Manage and drive sales capability to grow Sales and Account Manager capabilities through structured assessment, tailored readiness & development pathways
  • Build a Sales Community and facilitate deep engagements between sellers and the rest of the business
  • Generate revenue growth that is undeniably improved due to sales excellence

Qualifications (Cualificaciones)


  • 5 years of proven IT sales, direct or channel, experience
  • 3 years of proven sales and sales management experience in Enterprise accounts
  • Proven internal sales training background
  • Experience with Sales Productivity initiatives
  • Training & Coaching team members and stakeholders (Essential)
  • Structured Sales methodologies
  • Sales planning, forecasting & reporting
  • Confident user of Customer Relationship Management (CRM)



  • Degree qualified (bachelor’s degree typically required, Master’s/MBA preferred)
