Overview (Información general)

Reporting to the Operational Marketing Lead, this role is responsible for delivering a multi-media global sector marketing plan. Working with colleagues across the business, he/she will design and execute campaigns to support the sector goals.

 

Marketing plans will cover a comprehensive range of channels and media in order to attract, retain and engage with customers throughout their lifecycle. From lead generation to retention activities, marketing activities will exceed customer expectations and drive business value.

Responsibilities (Responsabilidades)

Sector Marketing Planning

  • Working with the Sector Heads and Commercial team, create the sector multi-media marketing plan to support:
    • Buyer acquisition
    • Buyer welcome/onboarding
    • Supplier acquisition/onboarding
    • Supplier welcome
    • Engagement
    • Retention
    • Advocacy/recommendations
  • Provide input into Operational Marketing budget to cover sector requirements and campaigns

 

Delivery

  • Execute the agreed campaigns for the dedicated sector in collaboration;
  • Be the Marketing point of contact for the sector, and work closely with specialist marketing manager (Event, Brand, PR, Social, Lead Generation) following the guidelines of the Operational Marketing Lead
  • Interrogate CRM to provide regular reports to the Operational Marketing Lead and Sector Head, covering campaign performance, KPI’s, and plan delivery
  • Manage relationships with external providers, including freelancers, agencies, and thought-leaders
  • Ensure all activity is brand aligned, measurable and meets defined marketing targets
  • Oversee sector budget; track campaign spend and identify opportunities for cost efficiencies
  • Organise smaller, sector-specific events e.g. meet the members
  • Analyse customer feedback for your sector and take corrective action as required
  • Measurement and analysis of results – including recommendations for future improvements

 

Self-Development

  • Act as sector SME within the marketing team to develop sector expertise and knowledge
  • Train Telephone and Account Management teams on key messaging, buyer expectations and industry information to support new campaigns/buyers
  • Keep abreast of latest marketing innovations and share with wider marketing team
  • Support wider team members

Qualifications (Cualificaciones)

Experience:

  • Marketing experience in strongly customer focused B2B businesses
  • Experience of managing multiple marketing campaigns simultaneously
  • Experience in a SaaS environment preferred
  • Experience from transport, construction, automotive, manufacturing backgrounds would be beneficial

Qualifications:

  • Marketing or Business-related degree or CIM or equivalent professional qualification, or working towards
  • Evidence of ongoing CPD

Person Specification

Knoweldge of: 

  • Social media management software
  • Email automation tools
  • Adobe creative suite preferred
  • Campaign analytics tools e.g Google Analytics, Hootsuite, HubSpot, Kapost etc.
  • CRM (MS dynamics preferred)
