As Telephone Account Manager, you will be responsible for undertaking the bulk of day-to-day account management activities. Providing telephone-based support to retain, and grow, smaller existing accounts.


Responsibilities (Responsabilidades)


  • Be the first point of contact for small buyer accounts
  • Manage and develop relationships with our small buyer accounts using CRM when introduced
  • Support larger buyer accounts in day-to-day activities, in coordination with Key Account Managers and Face-to-face account managers to provide a single face to the customer
  • Track and ensure resolution of any service problems or issues highlighted by the customer / Achilles
  • Provide helpdesk support to buyer users and coordinate the resolution of any technical issues.
  • Support proactively local buyers within Key Accounts to ensure maximum uptake of the system (inside sales)



  • Ensure that Achilles capabilities, products, and services are being leveraged to best effect to provide value to the customer
  • Proactively manage the Buyer renewal process
  • Ensure reasons for deciding not to renew, are understood, mitigated if possible and fed back to relevant Achilles stakeholders



  • Cross-sell and upsell additional products which could add additional value to the customer
  • Leverage relationships to support growth of account in other geographies and sectors
  • Input into and maintain high level group of accounts plans (both regarding process e.g. number of calls, as well as revenue and upsell) and deliver against them
  • Achieve monthly quarterly and annual sales objectives
  • Promote usage with buying organisations through reporting and insights (rarely with analytics “bulk” reports)
  • (secondary purpose, for buyer acquisition campaigns - support New Sales as required in initial contact validation and appointment making calls)



  • Oversee and be accountable for buyer sponsored campaigns
  • Collect supplier lists and pass to onboarding to contact
  • Deal with escalations from supplier adoptions, working in partnership with the customer to resolve issues
  • Co-ordinate with supplier facing internal teams to achieve customer outcomes
