Overview (Información general)

Organising, coaching and supporting the Planning and Support team to develop, maintain and distribute internal MI reports on the performance and operation of the business. To support the development and delivery of relevant management information, review and assess the reporting and to flag any key areas of concern to the relevant person.

Responsibilities (Responsabilidades)

Planning & Forecasting

  • Support the creation of plans to ensure cost effective deployment of resources within the team to maximise service level performances
  • Undertaking bespoke analysis of past trends to enhance future performance
  • Analyse management data to support the leadership teams in forecasting and budgeting processes
  • Coordinate with key internal stakeholders to create of forward view of upcoming workload; i.e. campaigns, new customers & communities

 

Monitoring & Business Information

  • Providing campaign analysis, using CRM and platform data
  • Production and delivery of monthly MI reports such as resource utilisation, campaigns, financial performance against budget etc
  • Develop new and amend existing MI reports in accordance with business requirements
  • Handling and processing a high volume of data on a weekly basis using an accurate and analytical approach
  • Ensuring analytical information and data reports are error-free

Process Improvement

  • Developing tools and processes to fill gaps in data collection & reporting capabilities
  • Developing tools and processes to enable automation of existing data manipulation and reporting activity

 

Supporting Team

  • Engage positively with the team to motivate, support and encourage them to deliver timely and accurate report
  • Conduct team huddles to ensure strong communications across the team, and that all team members are aware of what they need to deliver and the team’s performance against targets
  • Regularly sampling work and providing timely feedback to the Analysts to support continuous improvement
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert to resolve queries where escalated
  • Timely identification of issues impeding the performance of the team and taking rapid action to ensure they are addressed

 

Performance Management

  • Participate in recruitment interviews and deliver an induction programme to enable new team members to gain the knowledge and skills to become productive members of the team
  • Understand performance improvement and career development needs of individual team members and provide coaching interventions to help them improve
  • Deliver regular performance management reviews for team members in line with the Achilles Performance Management process, and implementing remedial action where performance is not to the required standards

Qualifications (Cualificaciones)

Knowledge

An excellent working knowledge of MS Office (including Word, Excel and PowerPoint), SharePoint, Outlook and the Internet

Knowledge of CRM (desirable)

Previous experience of using customer management tools

Excellent accuracy and attention to detail

Excellent written, telephone and face-to-face communication skills

Very good listening skills

Confident and professional manner in dealing with people

 

Experience

Previous experience in data processing and analytics, or a related technical area

Experience of planning and scheduling the work of a team

 

Qualifications

No mandatory qualifications required

Degree in an analytical subject preferred
